The Little Merman - Part 18 The witch makes a deal with the captain of the pirate ship to bring him the mermaids in exchange for his treasure chest.
As a writer, I felt inspired when I imagined a witch could make a deal with James, a pirate captain, and still be a little bit selfish. The witch is a sweet character in other stories so she’s just having some fun in this one. I don’t include villains in my stories because I’m the creator and I choose not to.
The witch puppet is an older puppet from Folkmanis Puppets. She has been a part of my life since childhood. Her design is incredible because she is a hand-glove puppet with an incredible face and mouth.
